A woman was arrested on a charge of murder after allegedly killing her
husband by crushing his private parts because he had an affair with
another woman, police in Nigeria said.Anambra State police said that they have arrested the pregnant woman, who was not identified, after she was accused of crushing her husband's private parts while he slept.
According to the police investigation, the woman, who is five months pregnant, came home and accused her husband of cheating on her with another woman.
The husband denied the allegations, and went to sleep. Later that evening, the suspect approached her husband and crushed his private parts.
The husband fell unconscious and died of his injuries.
Paramedics who arrived at the scene, confirmed that the man was dead. Police officers who arrived at the scene, arrested the woman, and she was charged with one count of murder.
She was booked into jail, and was denied bail.
