Danish company to produce electricity through wind

CHIEF Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said
    that Pakistan Muslim League-N
    government has
    served the masses
selflessly during last seven years and,
under the leadership of Prime Minister
Nawaz Sharif, effective steps are being
taken for coping with the challenges being
    faced by the country.
The chief minister said the discovery of
wind power corridors in Punjab was good
news. He said a Danish company had
    identified generation of electricity through
wind at various places of Punjab.
He said that completion of projects with
transparency, quality and speed was the
hallmark of the PML-N government. He
said there was no allegation of corruption
against the PML-N government and the
opponents could not point finger to it.
Talking to the PML-N office-bearers, who
called on him at Chief Minister’s
    Secretariat, here Friday, Shahbaz Sharif
said the last year’s sit-ins and politics of
protest had caused a huge loss to national
    economy.
He said by the grace of Allah Almighty, the
PML-N government had again started the
journey of development and we were
moving forward with new spirit and
    determination. He said the PML-N
    government had brought the precious
mineral reserves out of corruption before
the people; former rulers of Punjab tried to
commit robbery on this project and this
precious treasure was sold to a so-called
company at throwaway price but the PML-
N government foiled this effort and
    brought precious treasures before the
    people.
He said the treasure discovered in Chiniot-
Rajwa was not the property of 100 million
people of Punjab but was of 180 million
people of Pakistan and this was a special
gift of Allah Almighty. He said that
according to the experts, the reserves of
iron ore and copper were spread over 2,000
square kilometer and Chinese and German
experts would soon submit final report.
He said the discovery of wind power
corridors in Punjab was good news. He
said a Danish company had identified
generation of electricity through wind at
various places of Punjab. He said 50,000
    vehicles were being distributed among
jobless youths on merit under Self-
Employment Scheme for which quota of
districts of South Punjab had been
    enhanced.
He said that discovery of wind corridors
and mineral reserves in Chiniot-Rajwa were
result of this hard work and sincerity. He
expressed the hope that Pakistan would
achieve its lost image in the comity of the
    nations.
