Fourteen political thugs were on
Saturday arrested by the police
over their involvement
in the
burning of ballot papers and boxes
in Kaura Mata in Madobi local
Government Area.
The Commissioner of Police in the
state , lbrahim Idris said that thugs
numbering 19 stormed Kaura Mata
polling unit in attempt to disrupt
the accreditation process .
He said that the police swiftly
responded and was enable to
bring the situation under control
resulting in the arrest of 14 of
them .
Idris explained that lNEC
immediately replaced those
materials and voting in area has
since commenced .
